Tenacious D donates to charity auction

23 12 2015

Tenacious D, formed of Jack Black and Kyle Gass, has launched an online auction to raise money for the Sweet Stuff Foundation, founded by Eagles of Death Metal member Josh Homme, with the proceeds helping the victims of the terrorist attacks in Paris in which 89 people were killed.

Memorabilia being auctioned includes fur coats, wizard and lizard costumes and props including an 'evil alien squid', and a 15 foot phallic 'Fenix' stage prop used on the band's 2012 tour. The Sweet Stuff Foundation also recently called for musicians to cover Eagles of Death Metal song I Love You All the Time, with all proceeds going to the charity, with musicians including Florence + The Machine, Ed Harcourt, Kings of Leon and Imagine Dragons responding.
